New tank is up and running. It's been about a month:

Aqueon 90 Gallon Reef Ready Tank
Nuvo APS stand
Current USA Marine IC LED X 2 - with bluetooth kit
Current USA Wavemakers X 2
Trigger Systems Ruby 30S sump
Reef Octo Classic 150INT skimmer
Jabeo DCT-8000 return pump
80lbs Fiji Pink live sand
80lbs dry rock
15lbs live rock

Added cleanup crew this last weekend, crabs and snails. Have been using the Red Sea Marine Reef Starter kit for cycling. Levels are ready for our first fish and will probably do that this weekend. This pic is a little old, the diatom bloom is over and the brown on the dry rocks and sand is gone!

I dabbled in saltwater 15 years ago, but have had great help from my brother in law and a local shop to get this up and running.

Added a cheapo Fluval Sea CP4 powerhead last night. I got it mainly for mixing my saltwater for water changes, but figured when not mixing, it could go in the tank. The Current USA wavemakers are the 660gph variety, so together they push 1320. The new powerhead adds 1375gph for a total of 2695gph. I assume with the durso overflow and my pump i get 500-600 flow there, so somewhere in the range of 3195 to 3295 total.

Should I get another 1375gph powerhead to bump the total up to 4500 gph?

Thanks!

Matt
