Kessils are great ! Very bright and easy to control with apex or manually. Shadowing effects are pretty cool with fish a little less desirable for densely packed corals.

Here's a quick update I rearranged my aquascaping what do you guys think ? I tried to make a cove of slower flow and more negative space



Saw a neptunes purple Dino chalice tiny half frag at neptune aquatics for 80 bucks should I buy it ?

I run my kessil at 65 % intensity at the brightest at 40% color more blue than white and fade on and off in 0% all blue

Corals are doing well
I haven't had any other lights before so I don't have a comparison

Awesome ! Neptune aquatics the lfs recently switched over their display from ai to kessil. The only thing you don't get is the weather effects or individual control as the kessil a assimilate into one light controlled together but that shimmer from kessil is gorgeous

1 sailfin tang
1 purple firefish
1 yellow belly blue hippo tang
6 green reef chromis
2 Banggai cardinal
2 cleaner shrimp
5 or so hermits left
15+ Black trochus snails (they make so many babies )
4 super tongan nassarius snails (awesome zombies)

looking to add:
1 yellow tang
squarespot anthias if i can find it
more chromis and banggai
red fire fish
anything cool looking

Finally received my rlss r6i skimmer from aquarium specialty.



This how it looks in my sump with my new neo therm heaters.

It was a little bigger than I anticipated and no longer can run the filter sock.

Built this little acrylic stand

Oh and I just got this from buckeye hydro
