Fishless cycle with Fritz Turbo start question!

Do i need to add an ammonia source like dr tims fishless cycle before adding fritz turno start? I want to do a fishless cycle. Thanks!

You can. Its quicker and cleaner than using decaying matter. If you don't want to buy some ammonium chloride (meant for cycling), then fish food is fine. Usually that stuff is pretty potent but its always good to make sure the bottle wasn't a dud

As above, you need to feed bacteria, either with ammonia or with goast feeding/ dead shrimp.

I used Turbostart 900 and added a couple of clown fish a couple of days later. Started to feed them and no issues. Honestly back then I just did what the LFS said to do and everything seemed to work out.

What happens if I add clowns before the recommended 24hr period of the turbo start?
