I have found myself in a situation I didnt expect. Due to the recent death of fish in transit I have a fishless tank with a couple zoa and a small torch coral.

So my question is do I/ can I just feed small quantities of fish food indirectly or directly or would I be better served to by a coral-specific feed? Or should I just let photosynthesis do its thing?
Hoping to have fish arrive ALIVE next week, but wanted to make sure I'm doing what's best.

I wouldn't ghost feed fish food. Coral food wouldn't hurt but nothing to major is going to happen in the next week while you wait on fish. If your aren't qt especially. People that qt fish go through weeks of a fish less tank with no problems.

A week without fish isn't going to hurt anything. I would just leave the tank alone and wait for the fish. If you really wanted to, you could feed a coral specific food once or twice while waiting.
