Fishless tank (ich)

Hey guys I’ve been running my tank fishless for about 3 weeks now when can I put my fish back into tha display tank ? Also the fish have been medicated and quarantined for 3 weeks as well showing no signs of ich and eating well

Running fishless for 4-6 weeks is the normal to eliminate the possibly of Ich in dt

45 days minimum (and I would turn the heat up to 80-82) but some people do 76.

Stir the sand and blast the debris out of the rock to clear any anaerobic areas.

The generally accepted number of days is 70ish days.
There’s thought that some strains of the ick parasite are more resilient than others and 70ish days in fallow resulted in about a 99% success rate in eradication.

So the less the days, the higher the risk that some of the parasites remain.

It depends on your taste for risk.
