I didn't have such a good experiences with FB. I orderd 2 Mask swallow tail. At least one is still alive. Which makes it 50/50 for FB. But the thing that bothers me most is how FB couldn't work out a compromise. I rather lose the money. Than give more money to a place that will offer you store credit. Why? Because they raised the fish that I paid for from $108 to $189 and difference is small to medium in size.I have notice post reviews get deleted from here. I hate to make complaints but people should share they experience good and bad. But to received a fish in poor health I wouldn't buy from again. My fault for not calling right away so that's they way out.

We will always accept criticism if it is deserved. I feel it is important to share all of the details on this issue:

11/5/18 - Customer Ordered 2 Sm-Medium Female Masked Swallowtail at $108.99.
11/6/18 - Order shipped
11/7/18 - Order delivered at 10:18 a.m.

NOTHING for 8 days

11/13/18 - Customer claimed we sent him a very sick and skinny fish.
11/14/18 - We apologized and stated that we were very sorry, but he should have let us know that when he received it. Also, this is a fish on our restricted list, meaning that it is only covered under the DOA guarantee. If we sent him a sick fish and he let us know when he received it, we would be willing to work with him. In an effort to be helpful, we offered a store credit for 50% of the fish - this was refused as he wanted 100%. He asked if we had another Masked Swallowtail in stock - we did have one, but it was a Medium, which cost $135.99. He demanded a better price because if he used the store credit he would still have to pay for shipping. He did not get what he wanted so he filed a dispute on PayPal. He also posted on R2R unfounded claims, which were deleted by an admin.

His PayPal claim was denied this week so he has posted this review here and reported us to the Better Business Bureau.

This is what you get when you buy from this place. I contacted them on day 6 and fish died on day 7. I’m not going to lied about a fish. Just because you don’t call them because of other things going around my life. Makes me a liar . Defend your lousy business. I lost one fish and the price I paid for the one that lived. Is not much a lost. Because it was cheap. That’s what you get. Paid more from a vendor that takes care of fish and make sure they quarantined and healthy. Your just mad because I made a BBB complaint. This is just to inform other people. Every place will have problems. But how you handle it makes you a dishonest business.
 
By the way it was $54 half the price of the fish . Which you wanted to give me store credit. I rather take my lose to give you a penny more. From PayPal I can post that to should how you lied again. I didn’t want $108 . I will also post you claimed I wanted $236. So later tonight I will post all the emails that will show your a liar. Don’t worry I don’t want my money back from BBB. I’m ok losing $108. I just wanted to tell people that if something goes wrong. Which it will happen to all of us. This is what to expect. Just a bad business. I guess your not so busy selling fish you have the time to email my stuff. Tonight I will return the favor.

The fish only lived for 7 days so I guess that makes you a great vendor. You make it sound it’s my fault. The fish was barely eating. I’m very experienced in fish and have a good success with fish. So I thought I could keep him alive. Beside you admitted I’m out of warrant because the fish arrived alive. So you hold that calling would of made a difference. You would of said he’s on restricted list anyway. If that looks like a healthy fish to you. Boy I feel sorry how you run your business. I think animal control needs to pay you a visit.

I didn’t ask for a full refund. I wanted to use the credit he wanted to give me towards a new fish. But he raised the price from 108 to 135 and than 189. Just look at site. You had a good experience good for you. I should of listened to a friend who also lost several fish from this place.
 
But reef2reef likes to delete post for some reason. I guess they want to protect they vending money.
The only post that were removed are outside comments. These are not allowed in feedback thread as to allow for a resolution between buyer and seller. You have freely told your side. Also please stop continuing to bump this thread minutes apart. You have left your feedback.
 
Feedback rules are clearly stated. This is a vendor feedback thread. No outside comments are permitted, the only exception to this is linking to their own vendor feedback thread in regards to the same vendor. This is so the user and the vendor can state their cases and hopefully come to a resolution. Hope this helps :)
 
Here is the fish that is alive today. Would of be nice If other fish was like this one. How is this one alive if I 'm to blame

I’m sorry you feel that way. But if we wanted to protect “vending money” as you say, this thread would no longer exist.

Sorry you feel that way. I’m very passionate about this place. Many many, many years of blood, sweat and tears have gone into making this community a fair, good and fun place to be by myself and many other moderators and squad members. We’re not perfect by no means but we do strive to do what is best for the community and to be fair to our members and sponsors. It’s a fine line and a balancing act at times but we will talk about this and do what we can to make it better.
