So I was transferring two fish (Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse & Two Spot Bristletooth Tang) from QT to DT. The plan was to put the wrasse right in, while the tang went into an acclimation box (so my PBT could get used to her.)
Well, I'm transferring the wrasse using a colander, and he jumps out and hits the floor.
I scoop him up and throw him into the DT. Wife yells at me too. "Really!? He's hurt now and you put him in the 'kill tank'."
Well about 30 mins later the inhabitants of my 'kill tank' live up to their name ... chasing the wrasse all over the place. He goes up to the acclimation box and hides behind the tang inside.
I'm thinking to myself, "Hmm... I wonder..." So I open up the door to the acclimation box and the wrasse swims right in with the tang!
Now I just gotta decide what to do with him. He appears OK. But lately my fish seem to pick up on if a new addition is hurt or something... and they tear it apart!
