I’m fitting a Vecton uv to a nano aio tank, would there be any issues if I were to fit the unit lower than the waterline so the unit is not visible from the front, then use flexible tubing up into the tank’s back chambers?

As long as it is water tight it should be fine. I put mine on top because I could and plan on taking it down soon, but for long term installation a UV with flex hose connections should be water tight. Hang on Back units, with only one flex connection would not work, if I get what you are asking?

Yeah I think you got it, basically fixed to the wall behind the tank, below the top of the tank…how come your getting rid of yours?

Storing it. I had to move a tank and I did it poorly and had a lot of spots on my fish. UV and a month later and I will be taking it down soon. I don't think I need to run it all the time.
