Flame Angel disease how to treat?

Hi folks,

For two weeks i have a flame angel in my QT which started with two symptoms, white stringy poop and a small spot on its dorsal fin. Firstly i started with a preventive 2x praziquantel treatment. The white stringy poop i'm treating with metronidazole in the food and the results look positive.
The spot on the back of it's dorsal fin grows slowly. What you see on the photo developed in 2 weeks. I have treated this with kanamycin, metronidazole and nitrofurantoin with no effect. I have the feeling it is a bacteria (it's not looking like a fungus which grows on the skin) but i am not sure and don't know how to continue with the treatment.

Somebody can help me with some advice?

Beautiful fish! Antibiotics are very slow acting on fish. Might want to consider doing an antibiotic "bath" treatment. Sometimes the bath has a more efficient effect. Thread below with some options to consider. Also need to keep in mind that antibiotics don't really cure anything. They just give the fish's immune system time to repair itself. Feeding high quality foods + vitamins (I prefer Beta Glucan, as it tremendously boosts a fish's immune system) + Focus (or gelatin, or agar as binder) feeding once a day as long as necessary.

Thank you Big G, i will start with the bath treatment and switch antibiotics. I saw that thread of Humblefish but have difficulty to choose the next antibiotics.
Looking to the photo's and the development of the spot, is there an indication if i will find the solution in the gram positive or gram negative area?

The only way to know for sure would be to do a gram stain and examine under a scope.

There's an old method that many reefers used to use. Many antibiotics can be used as a 30 minute bath at 2x the dose used in the QT. Treat once a day. Of the ones you are using already, I'd probably use Kanaplex as the bath. It's very mild.
Aerate the bath for at least 30 minutes prior and maintain temp too.
