oh okay, with the sticker on the side of the tank in the other pic it looked like a brand new tank to me, and according to your ammonia badges you have ammonia in the water looks a little greenish to me

Tank is new, but sponge isnt.

I would still really like some feedback on whether it looks like his eye is mending or worsening. It is less swollen, but there is more white especially around the edge of the eye. Is this healing tissue or something else? Trying to evaluate if treatment is working or if I need to change what I am doing. Please help!
 
Hi there sorry you're dealing with this! It could be a bacterial infection. Since he is not currently eating I suggest adding seachems kanaplex recommended dosing to the aquarium. It would be best to add a cheap power head to the surface for advance flow.

Woke up this morning to him lying on his side. Within an hour he died. LFS is going to examine remains to see if they can determine the issue.
