ok i got a flame angel that is very active and swimming around all the time... it'll nip at any random corals occasionally. will this kill or harm corals (donut, scoly and some other lps) in the long run?

It depends, some will pick, others will eat soft coral/fleshy corals. Always a gamble with soft corals and dwarf angelfish

See if the corals are damaged or cause for concern. I noticed my flame doesnt really nip at the corals itself but the algae around it.

If a fish nips at coral, you have to decide which you like more, the fish or coral or both, then let nature take it's course.

decided that the flame angel has to go ... corals r too expensive to b fish food ... haha... any tips or ways to get the idiot out ??

Not the fishes fault , better education leads to better choices. Good luck removing him, they are smarter than they look.

+1 I took the gamble with a midnight angel once and it nipped like mad! Fish trap would not work, good thing was it was the dominant fish of the tank, I used a small bit of PE mysis and a barbless tiny scud flytying hook to get it out.
It worked!

Have a flyfishing shop in your area?
Might be a route to go, esp if it's a dominant feeder in the tank, if you dont want to tear your rock work up, and cant get a trap.

unfortunately the dominant/fastest eater is the borbonius and hippo tang... dun really wanna hurt my borbonius if i have a choice. will prob try some fish trap.. if it doesnt work .. prob have to try the fish hook . removing the rock work is too much of a trouble.

I had to hook my anthias, clown, and purple dottie back and put them in a bucket with an air stone and only then that
****** domino took the bait and was permanently removed from the tank. The other fish were returned no harm done.

Fish trap! I saw this genius idea on Instagram the other day, it was a plastic fish bowl, it had a floater band attached to the rim, and it was sideways to the tanks glass since a magnet was attaching the bottom of it to the glass. Food was put into it, and when the fish is in, pull the magnet off, the bowl should float upwards and the fish will be confused as heck, it eventually will float to the top, and grab it out!

size~ 32 temco nymph hook, barbless is what I'd probably use

EDIT- You will need to be very careful if using this method, if another fish with much larger mouths like your Anthias eats this and swallows it, could be a bad deal.

How much/often are you feeding ?

Don’t think it’s the fish that’s the idiot LOL (said as one who has ‘been there’).

You can make a DIY trap out of a water or soda bottle and put a mirror in the back of it, or you can buy an actual fish trap from Amazon, BRS or other fish supply site. I used a water bottle to catch my Flame Angel, but I used this for a Yellow Tang and small clownfish:
