Flame angel not eating in QT

In QT with CP and metro. Not eating anything. Live blackworms , spirulina flakes, angel formula, mysis,krill and pellets. Any input my daughter wanted one for a long time. Thanks

Wow not even live black works? How long have you had it? Seen any white stringy poop? Also how high do you have the cp at and how are you testing it. I know angels can be more sensitive to medications so that may be suppressing her appetite

Did you give it a chance to acclimate and eat before adding meds? It’s a mistake, in my view, to medicate right away. Much better to get a fish eating first. Dwarf angels are grazers so adding in a chunk of live rock might help.

+1 on getting them to eat before meds....also where did you buy him? If from a LFS was he eatting there?

Yup, Dwarf Angels will definitely graze on algae to start out with. Mine did it for about a week, then went to seaweed/nori and then Reef Frenzy.

Ok thanks will put a piece of rock in tank. Yes he was eating at LFS. I might do a water change to cut back on meds just to get him eating again. Thanks
