Flame angel...now or later and training?

Right now live aquaria has a sale for nearly half off the dwarf flame angel. I am about to order a scarlet skunk shrimp and a yellowfin flasher wrasse, but I really want to save on the angel.

In addition, I have seen threads where people talk about how their flame angels may be less prone to nip at corals if they are kept in quarantine a long time and fed the food provided; that somehow they stop caring about corals over that period of time.

For these two reasons, I want to get the angel now. However, I'm concerned:
A) Will the angel and the wrasse be ok together in just a 30 gal QT?
B) I plan on, after that wrasse (and potentially angel) putting in a Foxface, a firefish, and a couple cardinal fish. But, liveaquaria says to put in the angel last. How much of a risk am I taking, adding these fish into the QT after the flame has been there a couple months already?

The schedule I want:
1. Wrasse, shrimp, flame angel in QT
2. Wrasse and shrimp leave a month later
3. Foxface and firefish and cardinals go in QT w/flame
4 Foxface, firefish, and cardinals leave a month later
5. Flame leaves a month or so later for DT

Your tank is to small for a flame angel, even though it’s a dwarf they need more space than a tiny 30g glass box.

Besides your QT schedule doesn’t make sense.
You Quarantine the fish but don’t add any other fish to it after a month.
The flames are easy to take care of if you give them the space.
And that they not going to touch your corals if you keep them longer in QT is a myth.
Just feed them plenty and tank needs to be matured one year+ or longer as you will have a adequate population of sponges that the flame can munch on.

I wrote that up really quickly if it doesnt make sense. So if it is not true that keeping them away from corals will stop them from eating them, then all I am now asking is will it be ok to put in the Angel to the DT before the Firefish and Cardinals?

Also, why do you not recommend the fox face? Liveaq says it only needs 70 gal.... Thanks!

All angels are with caution no matter what you do.
I have a few angels and by time the nip on some corals but never killed one.
My interruptus is a CB angel but he is the worse of all, after 3 months of quarantine in a 40B and another 6 weeks in a large fragrant full of SPS I introduced him into my DT.
My Bandit angel left him alone but my 8 year old Hawaiian Flame was getting to him.
I know angels can stand the own pretty much above any other fish for the hobby but I thought I’m going to loose a 3k fish.
After a week he turned around and basictly he was showing his true colors and stud up for him self.
Now he’s a model angel.
Flames are stunning but be cautioned.

I pretty much agree with what @Diesel said. It's a gamble on whether or not the fish will nip at coral. And to my knowledge you can't really "train" fish. Just keep it well fed enough that it doesnt need to nip at coral. And in a 75 I'd only recommend one dwarf angel as a 70 gallon is the minimum size for just one

I did order him with the wrasse and shrimp. I suspect I may only get a firefish in addition in the near future depending on what the angel's agression appears to be.

Don’t qt inverts and fish together. The meds necessary for proper QT will kill inverts.

Yes you can keep the wrasse and angel in a 30 gal if done correctly. I recommend Dr Tim’s or BioSpira.

QT fish in batches.

Flame angel nipping has little to nothing to do with quarantining them or not— they just decide one day they’d like to sample coral and never stop. Sometimes it’s just a nip and never very problematic. Other times, they can decimate certain polyps or coral. I’ve never had the latter.

If you mean One and Only, I have that and use it already and love it. QT has been set up for months, too; nothing new in there and fish only been out a couple days.
