So I just found my new flame angel sucked up to the powerhead. It's a rw15 granddaughter may have turned it up I'm not sure. It was the only fish in the tank. Was it because the powerhead is to strong? Tank is a 125 and I have a tunze 6045 on one end and the rw-15 on the other

No, the problem isn't the powerhead being too strong. A healthy fish will not get sucked into a powerhead. A healthy anemone... that is a different story.
Even with stores you trust, it is always a good idea to quarantine fish. Many stores may only have a fish for a few days. They don't have it long enough to know if it is healthy. Your LFS may do it's best but the deck is stacked against them.
I am sorry about the loss of your fish. Flames are a beautiful fish even if mine is the tank bully.

Correct. A healthy fish isn't going to fall victim to a powerhead. It's not a coincidence that you had it for a day and found it like that.

As a rule of thumb I wouldn't buy fish that you aren't able to observe for a couple of weeks. Once they're at a couple weeks+ with no display of troubles, your chances of success skyrocket.

The fish may not have been sick but may not have made it through acclimation properly. Could have died during the night and then got sucked into the powerhead.

I think it was my fault. We had a cold front move in the night I got him. I checked the tank this morning and before I turned on the lights the temp was only 75 degrees. One heater was not working at all. It was a new heater. A cheap one. Thankfully I had got worried about something being wrong with the tank yesterday after the flame died and moved all the coral to my small tank yesterday. The only thing I didn't move was my fire shrimp because I was afraid to put him in to a 30 gal tank that has a big coral banded shrimp in it. Fire shrimp seems ok so far. A real heater with a separate controller will be here tomorrow. When I found the flame he was still alive but couldn't swim right. I guess I just panicked and wasn't thinking straight and blamed it on the powerhead. Now I'm still worried about the fire shrimp. He is staying near a heater and with the 6 t5 bulbs tank should warm up soon. I also put every heater I have in there but they r not for that big of a tank. And it will be tomorrow afternoon before the new heater gets here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't know of anyone near me with a saltwater aquarium

Your critters will be just fine at 75°F. Try and not let the ambient room temperature go below 72°F or so until the new heater arrives.

You wont get big rapid temp swings in a tank that size. And just about everything can handle 75F for a period of time. They just might not thrive in it.

I would think so. Very few illness that impact fish will also impact inverts.
