FLAME ANGEL WHITE LIPS

my neutiful angel recently developed white lips i looked around the forums and have not found anything conclusive ...does anyone have an idea ..
I tried my best to grab a pic but flame angels are not easy to photograph

he may have been picking at rocks and managed to pick at a bristle worm instead. How long have his lips been white?

Additional info and thoughts:
i notice he picks at rocks could it be some sort of scratch or bruisng
He shows no sing of ick or parasite ashe does not rub against rocks or sand and does not visit cleaner shrimp
Could it be some sort of mal nutrition? I notice he is not as an aggresive eater as the two clowns that he lives with

No, it's more likely an injury or irritation with a mild infection attached. If it doesn't go away in a day or two, then we can start to worry and discuss treatment options.

if you want to do something now, you can food soak with antibiotics. Kanaplex or Furan2 coupled with Focus to bind it will make it reef safe and could help keep the mild infection from growing worse.
