Flame Angel white spots

It’s a good idea to add the bottled bacterial to the now “clean” tank, to help manage ammonia.

Brooklynella does definitely affect clowns more than other species. It’s actually been dubbed “clownfish disease” because of it. But, it can still affect other fish as well and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

I think the recommendation to bind the medication to food was to offset the slight chance of uronema... but, now knowing that it’s brook probably not necessary.

If you have it, wouldn’t hurt to do it anyway... it’s not a bad idea to treat fish proactively for intestinal parasites anyway. But, that’s up to you.

For the Rally bath, I usually use a 5-gallon bucket with an airline and small heater to keep aerated and temp-controlled. Doseage is 5ml per gallon of saltwater, aerate before and during the 90-minute bath.

THe flame angel passed away last night not too long after the rally bath, it wasnt doing well much before either :(

How often should I change water in the QT with the metro dosing?

My display is just corals now, i keep it without fishes for 2 months? any other special care so this doesnt happen again? like change media or something

I’m sorry... the misdiagnosis probably didn’t help...time is not on the fish’s side with these things :(

Technically, you should do a 25% change before each dose. I do about every other dose, just to save salt. You’ll want to keep an eye on your ammonia badge, any hint of green and I wouldn’t skip the change.

Fallow period for brook is 6-weeks. Nothing more to do, without a fish to host they will die off on their own.

@sneakerhead , sorry for your losses buddy. You worked hard to save them but sometimes by the time you see these symptoms it is too late.

You have been following the treatment directions really well so far, I just want to add that this fallow period is very important and please be sure you wait the full 76 days before adding anything. The only thing worse than having to go fallow is to have to do it again.

Thanks @ccombs
the last clownfish passed away this morning as well, very unfortunate and sad.

I will keep the tank empty without fish for the suggested time, thanks for everyone that helped and contributed.
Without you guys, maybe these fishes would not even have made it this far so thank you
