They’re just so beautiful! can you recommend another good looking fish for a 4’x2’ tank, (have a 8’x30” I will be moving everything into in a couple months so adult size doesn’t matter) but I would like to stay under 1&1/2ft max because I don’t want to have to handle big butt fish, currently have

Gladiator Clown pair
Royal gramma
Bengai cardinal
Green mandarin
Fox face 3-4”
Convit tang 2-3”
Tomini tang 2”

Have you thought about any wrasses? I love all of them but currently have a banana and a melanarus and love the melanarus. The banana is adhd. One of my favorite fish even though super common is a Midas blenny. He may be my favorite fish to watch. I’ve also had my eye on a candy hogfish which I think are beautiful.

Definitely! Want a cool flasher & the Melanarus but heard to add wrasses last because they’re most aggressive? But also heard that about tangs lol & I want to keep a open top so don’t really want to add jumpers ( had my yellow watchman jump last month ) & just looked up the hogfish real nice! Also trying to stay away from yellow & orange color for fish, tryna mix it up

Keeping an open top with any fish is dangerous, there isn’t such thing as a fish that won’t jump.

As for fish in a 4’ tank that you could have I personally have a Regal angel, Majestic Angel and now a Coral Beauty in my 4’ tank and only the Majestic seems to nip on coral (even then, it’s limited to Duncans so far). Also wrasses shouldn’t be added last - Only some species should be added last and those species should generally be avoided altogether.

Keeping an open top with any fish is dangerous, there isn’t such thing as a fish that won’t jump.

True & nice I’m thinking of doing a flame angel & Niger trigger & 1 more small fish until i set up the 210 maybe a coral beauty at the same time as flame since they’re both dwarfs

Cant go wrong with a Coral Beauty! They’re my favourite dwarf Angel and I spent just over £200 ($255) on this Tiger Tail.

The CBB is my second of that species but 3rd of that genus
My first was killed but a Scopas Tang unfortunately and my next of the genus was a C. marginalis which died in a bucket. This guy however has lasted 4 years now

It’s Chelmon, the species I have currently is Chelmon rostratum however there’s 2 others in that genus;
Chelmon muelleri (Somewhat brown and difficult to obtain but easier to keep)
Chelmon marginalis (Very pricey but easy as an angel to keep)
