Flame angels fungus ?

Today I noticed 4 white patches on my flame looks raised and kind a fungusy.. fluffy like. anyone know what it is ? Treatment advice he’s been in the tank for a month and a half . Maybe just damaged scales? Kinda look lifted almost

That looks like a bacterial infection to me.

I would move to QT. Treat with Kanaplex Metroplex and Furan-2 or NFG for 10-14 days.

I have no idea what that is. If it is medicated food, it may help. External infections are going to be better treated with meds dosed into the water. It would be much more effective in a QT.

You described lympho but I don’t see evidence of it in the pics and that would be a very abormal location/presentation of lymph. I’m guessing he was stung.

Your other course of action is to soak foods in vitamins such as selcon, zoecon, and/or vita chem and hope for the fish’s immune system to do the job. No guarantees though.

I’m guessing that was a sting from a coral. In addition, fungus are very uncommon in marine aquaria.

Ok thank you . It’s different looking for sure. I never seen something like it but I’m assuming damage.
