I'm sorry, I've lost two fish recently after trying very hard to help them. One was a bacterial infection like yours that I just couldn't get under control. It stings the heart and the wallet :/

So I'm running copper and the three meds from above. Furan 2 is stating after second dose do a 25% water change. Should I follow that? That will also throw off all the other meds.

Typically I dose all three on the same day. I'll do a water change and re-dose after 48 hours. This continues for a minimum of 10 days, and sometimes longer if needed.

Ok thanks. That's lots of water changes and hopefully keeping my copper correct. If he makes it will be worth it.

I didn't know to add the other two so I only started with kanaplex. It's been three doses of that alone so far. What are my odds of curing this?

I dont know about odds, but you can add the other two to the kanaplex at this point.

Maybe I should stop the copper and just cont with the antibiotics? He's been in copper for 3 weeks.

I would continue it to 4 weeks personally, unless something really serious surfaces. Otherwise he'll need another 4 weeks later most likely.

Finish out the last week of copper. Also continue with the kanaplex. You want to finish out the entire 10 day minimum.
