Can I have two in a 249 gallon reef if ones been in there 5-12 months

Dont know if I was just lucky or not but I have two in a 300 gallon with no problems. Had originally bought a pair.......lost one about 7 months later.......waited about a month and added another. No problems. Sometimes they hang out together and sometimes they are at opposite ends but they get along just fine. I would try it with your size tank.

Yeah I had 2 in a 150g one
