Hey everyone
My FTB has a cluster of spikes on one of its cheeks and I want to know how I can get rid of the bristle worms. Also, is there any way that I can help out this little guy with the spikes? Or should I just leave him be? Below are some pics and a vid of how many worms I have after having the lights off for 5 mins. It's best to let it be. Any attempt to remove them or medicate will just add more stress, plus I'm sure it learned it's lesson. As far as the bristle worm removal, I would personally just leave it (them) there. They're good part of your CUC and trying to remove them will just add more stress to your fish and probably wont be 100% effective in getting all the bristleworms.

I agree with above. The odds are you got your title backwards, its likely the fish that attacked the worm, and learned its lesson.
