Hello all!

I wanted to get some advice quick, my DT had Marine Velvet and wiped out 10 of my fish and now I am only left with a chromis and flamehawk.

They've been in QT for about 2 months now, survived the copperpower treatment. About a week ago, the FH has been acting strange and stopped eating, he was really lethergic and laying on his side. I've changed the water to keep up with Ammonia, got that little stick on tester to notify me if it's rising. after the treatment, I used API GC as mentioned by humblefish part of the velvet outbreak.

So fast forward to yesterday, I did finally see stringy white poop, bought and administered API GC...however only the chromis has been eating. So i did another treatment. I've followed the instructions as mentioned but he's just not eating?

Should I try soaking the food and medicating it? but if he's not eating, how should I go about this?

Read this, however it doesn't explain how to get fish to eat...if you read my post.

A fish that is not eating that has internal parasites is tough to treat. Dosing the water with GC is about the only thing you can do and hope that enough medication is absorbed in order to get the fish eating again.
