flaming mohican vs krakatoa

I dont understand the purpose of this thread other than hype, as both of these morphs have clear physical differences.

Flaming mohican looks the same as CG full spectrum thats been in the hobby for over a year now. I've had them both and they are essentially a beautiful, yet delicate darth maul morph. Krakatoa is similar to the spackled red morph that's been in the hobby for 2 years and sold for less than $30pp. Im told the krakatoa is brighter and has slight pattern differences. Flaming Krak is a full spectrum aka freddy krueger renamed to cash in on the krakatoa name. This morph ranges from solid orange to speckled orange depending on the intensity of light and size of the polyp.

Im a fan of hype and have been guilty of it myself a few times, but this much hype over a morph thats currently being widely imported is just gross. New zoa collectors, be more discerning with your dollars, there are some hobbyists laughing all the way to the bank.

So much haters in this thread, I'm surprised Mods don't step in to clean up this mess.

Funny how disagreeing has become synonymous with being a hater. I think the Krakatoa IS different than the Mohican. Hating? Personally I like the Krakatoa better. Hating? I won't buy either because I have omega mauls and I believe they are very similar if not identical.

Hermes and LPS are getting their feelings hurt by this thread because it just hypes up the paly they have. So instead of crying hater why not just sit back and relax.

Lets take a step back and listen to the expert here. This should be stickied somewhere.

Well. I think candy apple orange is the same as bowser. Who is with me on this?
I think that most of the bowsers in the hobby are CAO as well. People abused the yellow line thing and started to make up their own Bowsers vs trying to get the one lineaged to AIM which was the first Bowser.

Well. I think all the rainbow chalices out there are the same. Is the original frag what makes the difference. Who is on this with me?

Might as well get 2p of Karatoa Implosions from cornbred for $100. Looks pretty much the same, even though I still think they're just freddy kuegers.

Haha! Uses the same picture but just adds saturation to it.

Come on, you guys have been in the zp coral game to know better. Not everything with a new high price tag means it's new.

Donatellas, price jacked
Fallen Suns, price jacked.
And now Flaming Hohicans, price jacked.

Getting called out every time there's a "new release" there's clearly a trend with you.

Are you guys just buying these because of the high price tag? Looks like vendors need to take a lesson on marketing 101 from Hermes.

Hey buddy. Can this picture be a krakatoa implosions?

Bravo...Bravo! Finally we got stand up comments here.
WanaBe is a WanaBe and Hype is Hype doesn't matter what angle you look at.
LPS intention is very original, however somewhere in the early beginning seller try to prop obviuosly and barking hard at people that try
to point in the correct direction of this thread.
Widely imported corals in this particular case darth maul morph is difficult to single out one another because they are similar.
Claiming lineage because it is coming from one tank is not good enough, in this case the lineage have to be look farther back to the original grower.
Fortunately, with this darth maul morph only come in a mariculture plug from Indonesia and only one single operator that runs this operation.
When this widely similar morph still being imported and when so many own it and when one still insist his/hers is an original we usually call that hype.
Krakatoa is also a dm morph currently lineage can only be trace to one location and also come from the same mariculture facility in indonesia.
We are all hopping many more to come in the future but who knows.

It is legit for seller to set whatever price they like, yes it is free country, the buyer (not sucker) is happy to own whatever they bought at whatever price.
Some seller will create similar name just to make a sale or calling his picture as juve stage that will grow into that certain zoa/paly, even this is legit
since it is part of marketing strategy even when it looks shady.
I don't see anything wrong with selling full spectrum for 55.00 or flaming mochicans for 250.00, it is more power to seller and
it is about there business with its customers.

This situation only good to educate us, buyers, for the next purchase and also to separate reputable seller
The more seller disgrace his own business in the open the more people will shy away, I would say hype on...
