I don't understand the point of fighting over the name of a coral. I have zoas and palys. No idea what they are named, and guess what, I don't care either. I buy what I like, and while I do like the colors of theae, I won't buy them. Most expensive coral in my tank is a rock covered in some kind of blue/purple zoa or palys that i paid $5 for 3 fist sized rocks. Hype leads to high prices.

Well who ever gets them I'm in some serious need for some krak! Ill even throw in some great recipes if needed to!!

You might one day graduate. That's how we all start out then some become collectors versus mere hobbyists.

+1, Thats how I started.. Now I only look for the Top Grade Palys/Zoas. I sold all my low grade ones to make room for the Nice ones. You spend a lot more $, But their expensive for a reason.. Because their better than a lot out there.

Lol. Someone has drank the koolaid. You are just shooting yourself in the foot. This is what is killing me. They are expensive for no reason. Are they limited? Were there only five on a rock? Looks to me just from this thread they are pretty not limited.

Are they slow growers? Hard to say because more than likely they just came in.

Are they melted so they are hard to frag? Seem not to be since no one is claiming their frag melted.

The true bowser was all of these things hence the high price tag. Same with the bpc ft. That's why those prices have never gone down.

Flame all you want about haters that can't afford to or don't want to spend the money on high end but realize that because you are only buying "collector" grade zoas. Now you are going to start seeing collector instead of LE in front of names. It will be limited because of the price tag not because of the amount imported.

You forgot to add the Hallucinations in that line up

I agree with this but also would include something to the effect of limited as well - not because the quantity of the zoa is limited but the quantity of PURCHASERS is limited
The market for these collector zoas is very limited
Very few people actually buy them
Most of us will wait till the hype diminishes and then maybe buy or trade for them ( if we have room in our tanks)
The problem as I see it is the people who call themselves collectors who really aren't, but are rather hoping to make money off the hype

If your buying collector anything because you enjoy them - awesome!
But if your buying this over priced stuff because you plan to make money off it - your likely to be disappointed.

Check the for sale threads - there are dozens of them where people can't sell their high end stuff because the limited number of people who will pay that much all ready have them.

The number of people willing to pay that much is so limited that by the time someone thinks they can cash in - they are too late

Nice zoas but I am a true collector. I buy to enjoy them in my tank. If/when I ever get them the price will be much lower and I will not be looking to cash in one day, but rather to grow out a colony of coolness :)

Yes. That was **** I was trying to say about limited. Not due to supply.

Everyone makes a good point flaming mohican anyone

I saw another mohican morph appearing at one of the sponsors here. His Mohican is from another tribe lol. They are darker, lipless and without a define black circle, also going for 250pp.....if u like it, then buy it. If u like it but can't afford, don't hate and just wait for the price to go down further, if u don't like it, just move on and find another morph that u like and can afford. No one is forcing anyone to buy anything. There is no gun nor grenade to force u do anything u don't like.

You know what I find hilarious about zoa collecting some people only care about "linage" and its only a "so and so" polyp if it came from this guy! But then the same people will turn around and throw a fit, for u "renaming" a polyp.

lets keep this thread going :fencing::fencing::fencing:

Jason fix has some palys down here that are identical to the Krakatoa. Selling for a ton less too
