flaming mohican vs krakatoa

The last 2 responses are the best of this entire thread!!!! I am lol!!!!

kraponmytoas is a figment of the imagination of the 3 people that have them. Sorry Duke, I think these things are myth. Can't believe the hype they're getting when there has to be comparison photos to show the differences. Now I understand the Bowser fight. Why the exclusivity of something so close to another polyp.

FYI... The picture of the Krakatoa is done with my iPhone. No photo shop or fancy camera. The Krakatoa is twice as bright as those other polyps.... If you have seen hallucinations in person you know how bright they are. I have a pic in here somewhere next to some hallucinations just to show the intensity of color, they put the hallucinations to shame.... Sorry I only have an iPhone to take pictures. It is hard to gauge differences I guess because everyone is just looking at pictures of different polyps in different systems with different cameras. If anyone has the omega mauls and the JF ones and want to sell them to me just let me know.... I will do a side by side shot of all them together just to put this to rest.

I have a few polyps of the kraks. Meh. Nothing special

Lets see some pics!!!! Everyone has a krakatoa now supposedly. If you have collected as much as I have and can just say "Meh nothing special" to a real krakatoa then you must have quite a collection, because honestly I have had just about everything and I am still in aww with this polyp.. So far I am only person that has shown pictures of the krakatoa in my system along with the ones in Taiwan or Vietnam. Everyone says they have them but do not show pictures or just say "Meh nothing special"... If you got them then show some pictures... I would love to see them

Just playing with everyone. I do have an extensive collection but do not have any kraks yet. They are definitely on my want list though. And I would agree with the limited supply out there the pricing seems right on to me. Everyone on here is complaining about the price but zoa prices have no where even closely reached chalice prices. And I have seen booger sized rainbows go for 1k and up. With at least a year before you could frag them. At least with even the slowest growing zoas. You could get a few polyps of it in a year

Really? Name one collector chalice that grows like zoas. Buying a 500 single polyp make buying a 1k rainbow chalice seem like a steal

Rainbow chalices are past their prime anyway. There were a ton at macna and I really did not see any of them moving. They were overpriced when they first came out and are now returning to where they should have been at 300-500 an eye.

Having said all that, explaining away the price of an zoa as "well they aren't priced as high as chalices" is just bad logic. It is an excuse to drive up the prices of something that does not have to be.

Miami hurricane! I think it grows faster ;)

Honestly though the best examples of each are both rare for sure and worth the money if they are hot in person.

I just drank some cognac and I say the kraks should be 1k a polyp lol as for rainbow chalices I say your dead on Mike I think they have fizzled down to the loint that people are ttying to sell mutliple eye frags now for prices that use to sell just a few months ago for 1 eye frags

u guys crack me up! Krakatoa all the way! I will get you a better picture soon as this one doesn't do it justice and sorry but not for sale.

Those jfox ones are like the speckled mauls or the omega mauls... They are not Krakatoas here is a better pic from the ones at MACNA
