Is there a specific time of year for flasher wrasse hunting? or is it a year round kinda business?

I would imagine a few months after breeding season would yield the most encounters as the population is at its highest at that point

It is mostly year round though some species might have more remote areas to collect from and don't get collected as often. Some areas I would think have fewer collectors in general than others. So this means some of the ones you want may only show up at certain times of the year. AND.. some countries don't want certain things collected.. or limit them. Some might be deeper water and so only a few collectors can even go after them.. the list goes on..

As to hunting season, I don't think there is a season per se. it is the tropics and collection is less dependent on the kind of season we think of here in the US or Europe. Like salmon or crabbing etc.

It depends on both the species and the region.

But right now, not much is available due to lack of international flights. Many collection companies have suspended shipping.
