Flasher wrasse white mark

Can anyone help me ID if this is a disease? It’s hard to get a picture of him but he’s got a white area between his eye and mouth. It looks swollen in the picture but it’s actually not. It’s just a complete discolor all of a sudden.

Could be an injury. These guys are hard to get photos of. Is he eating? If so, you may want to medicate his food since it looks like he is in a reef and not qt. Use a gram negative antibiotic (kanaplex, metronidazole, eurithromycin,etc and focus to bind meds to food).

Highly recommend either Triple Sulfa or Sulfaplex for those facial infections. Can combine Sulfaplex + Neoplex if the "redness" Humblefish mentioned shows.

Thank you guys. I’ll report back once the lights come on this morning to see what he looks like. Yes he is eating, he’s acting completely normal.

So, it seemed to have healed on its own. I guess it was just an injury.
