Anyone have any idea what this is. This is the second time in the last week these white spots have shown up. It doesn't look like crypto. Are these from getting stung by a coral?

A bit hard to tel from the video. Is the white spot on the fish's right side protruding from the body a bit?

Yea. It lines up exactly where the fin rests. So if the fin was against the body it would be one big huge spot.

This is also the second time this happened in the last week.

Is the spot there in the morning and then gone by the afternoon?

Nope. Today is day 2 now but looks a little better. Was a lot worse yesterday.

Would be super odd for brook. No clownfish in there and no other fish are showing signs. The pale patches are healed bite mark's that never colored up. Doesn't brook just get worse?

Can brook get better on it's own without any intervention?

Wrasses are well known for being able to become "Thyphoid Marys" that carry diseases because of their thick mucous coats that protect them to some extent and they build some immunity along the way. Sometimes stressor events can lower their immune systems enough for the disease to eventually overtake them.

So the wrasse is doing well but still has some mucus spots on his fins. If this was brook the fish would be dead by now right?

I can’t see anything definitively in video, is a clear photo possible?

A little grainy. I thought it may have dove into the wrong coral but it's odd this is the second time this happened. I also didnt think brook can come and go.

Fins look like lympho and maybe an injury or more lymphoma on the side of the fish. Has it quickly progressed or slowly?

Fins look a lot like lymphocystis. Hard to tell if the spot on the body is related or something different. Did the timing of the fin and body findings coincide?

@4FordFamily So this is what it looks like today. The body is mostly clear. The fins look a bit better. The fin is a bit frayed where the mucus was. First noticed this on Tuesday and am pretty sure if this was Brooklynella the fish would be dead by now?
