Hey everyone,

I noticed this hitchhiker come across on a different torch that I had...that ended up dying. Any idea what these suckers are? They look like some sort of flat worm. I seem them hanging out right where the flesh and the polyps come out, and they just circle the skeleton all day long.

Not sure if these are causing any harm, or if these guys are harmless.

Thanks!

Yes polyclads eating the flesh. They can survive coral dips. But if you make a dip up and put the coral in the dip, then start off gently blasting the coral with a pipette you will get them off. Then check the coral for eggs and then the rest of your tank, sump back boxes for polyclads.

Little jerks! After a quick search on polyclads...looks like I might be doing a Prazi-Pro treatment in my tank. I had been wondering why my torch has not been expanding, as it used to be a showpiece in my tank.

Hopefully this will help things! Any other suggestions are much appreciated!
