Can someone help identify these white rectangular shapes objects? Are they flatworms? They are all over, mainly on the bottom the tank and rocks. I puffed them off with a turkey baster and now I see red flat worms in my tank!!!

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Closer up pics of one would be helpful here if you can provide them, as these look like they may be flat worms, or they could be something like headshield slugs. Personally, I can't tell from the current photo.

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. Here are some additional

Could you pull one out of the tank into a little container of tank water and get a clear, close-up shot of it?

It's weird that they appear a white/gray color when on the rocks and almost look like detritus. However, once aggravated or moved they appear red.

Brown flatworms are a curse. White, not so much, pretty harmless. It seems you have the bipolar variety. Brownish are pretty toxic when dead. Velvet nudibranchs will eat them up like a vacuum, but try to give it to someone else before it starves.
