Flatworm? Dangerous?

Hi, I got some algae mix from a friend and put them in a 10g to try growing for my fish. Today, I saw these 2 on the tank wall. They were white/translucent. I got them out but impossible to take a pic still whiteish looking. The pic was under the red light. I assume looks like a flatworm but the question is if it’s dangerous? My friend has a 300g sps tank and this was from his fuge, he doesn’t have issues with his corals. Appreciate your help. Should I throw the algae?

Flat worms in general suck get a wrasse that eats them and you will be fine I would scoop the ones you can see out but if there is 2 of them then there is more.

The word flatworm scares me, although I just recouped from the acropora eating variety. I second the wrasse idea if concerned, as my sixline had a field day when added him to the qt during the process.

Thank you! Unfortunately it’s a 10g with a pump and a heater so I couldnt put a wrasse, it was just a set up to grow the algae for fish snacks since I had an old 10g...but guess if they’re not dangerous I can live with it. Gonna wait a while before I feed the algae in case more stuff crawls out...it’s been growing like mad though lol

Sorry to hear that! I’ve been lucky do dodge them over the years but needless to say that’s where my mind went the moment I saw these 2.

Mine came on strong and slowly died out. I bought flatworm exit but never ended up using it. Total was about 8 weeks from start to finish. Wipe them off the glass every now and then.
