I plan on dropping the bomb on my frag tank tomorrow AM. Every frag comes out and is dipped in FW Exit and Freshwater. The frag tank is being emptied (& the sump) and being flushed with freshwater and FW Exit. Then the tank will be refilled what the heck new saltwater (50%) and water from my display tank(50%).
I'm looking for generaal comments on the solution to the problem (I have nudis, flatworms and I even found a zoo spider the other day).
A general question is also:
How long can I keep the frags in the fw/FW Exit dip. I have zoos, a few lps, a few leathers, some xenia and some rics and other shrooms (call me eclectic)???? Do I dare leave them in for the 45 minutes it will take me to flush and refill the system?

if you are dipping them in fw you won't need fw exit, the fw will kill the flatworms quickly

i would do a heavy dose of fwexit before you empty the tank, let it run for an hour or so, then start siphoning

i would only leave zoas in fw for 5 minutes at most, they can last longer but mortalities may occur as time increases

i would get a rubbermaid dishpan container, fill it with water from your display, and after fw dip put them into there.

A fw predator will be in the tank in the future and I swear by the most holy god of zoanthids to dip any new arrivals in the future.
The 5 minute time limit on the dip is about what everyone is telling me for zoos, but what about the leathers and softies??
AND the only reason I am flushing the system is to avoid ANY effects from dead flatworms that may be stuck ina crack or a crevice somewhere.
Oh- thanks for the double dose idea too.
