Polyclad yes and are not harmful as red planaria, but they in numbers can smother bases of coral and block the needed light for production of zooxanthellae which is their energy source.Is this flat worm parasitic in my reef ? Good or bad...
Removal can be accomplished by siphoning them with a 3/8" tubing into a nylon stocking and discard
OR
Add a wrasse such as Yellow coris, 6 line, lunare or malanurus OR even a springieri damsel which will eat them
With the number you have, for the next 2 weeks you will have to look for eggs and scrape off as there is likely some and would be future acoels. Eggs are really tiny

Polyclads are quite a bit more harmful than planaria!

Possibly with a bottle trap using a snail as bait? I happened to get one of mine while encasing a snail shell, so it couldn't escape to a rock, and a second when I did a tank transfer I saw one hide in a small rock so I just tossed the whole rock. They will tear easily if you try to grab it. Tough critter to catch.

Can euphylia still do well with those euphylia/ polyclad flat worms in the tank? Or will they eventually be targeted?
Do I dip euphylia hammers in Bayer often to ensure I kill them?! Trouble is I don't see them at torches and their bases!
