Flatworm ID and how to kill it.

Looking for and ID for this guy and preferably an in tank treatment. isolated some in a dish. purge and flatworm exit don't seem to phase it so far. the first dip I tried nuked them fast.

Looks like a polyclad flatworm. I've heard prazi can kill them but never confirmed it.

I had two in my 24g (the video in that last link shows the first one). Removed both by picking out with a pair of 12" stainless steel tweezers while each was on my glass at night after the lights went out. If you do this though, you have to be very careful and get a hold of them in thick, center-part of their bodies.

If even a small bit of flesh breaks off and remains in the tank, it can regenerate into a new flatworm.

are they known to munch on acropora? all the ones I've pulled off are probably les than 1cm but theres like 6-8 i basted off a handful of frags. found a few eggs and it looks like something is eating the acro tissue in spots on the underside of a few

Can you post pictures of the coral? My guess would go to AEFW if they're munching on coral @KJ @Lovemyreef2015

Looks right to me. Worms match. Eggs match corals match. Funny purge claims to kill them and I put an excessive dose in a container overnight and it didn’t seem to do much. Not sure if there is any effective in tank treatments.

Sure I'll hijack this old flatworm ID thread... what does this look like to you? I suspect an acoelomate flatworm - but it could be a polyclad flatworm that eats acros...? It came off a euphylia after a 2nd dip a week or so later. The coral is still in QT. Thanks
