Hi all,
I have some flatworms swimming around my tank. I have seen the acro flatworm that sits on the coral, not this one that is on my coral but also on the tank walls and seemingly swimming around freely. Can anyone tell me what it is and what I use to get rid of it?

if they are on your glass and such they are probably just red planaria. I am just not used to seeing such blown up pics of them. Platworm exit will kill them but do your research first as their death can be pretty toxic. Wrasses such as melenarus six line yellow coris etc will eat them.

Welcome to Reef2Reef, PhantomX1!

The overall shape of this guy does look like a "red planaria" flatworm (Like JaimeAdams, I'm not used to seeing them through a microscope - great job, that!), which is mostly harmless, but can grow to annoying population levels. I had a _ton_ of those guys - and still do, but only in my sump & refugia. I added several wrasses (fairy, flasher, and sixline) and a target mandarin dragonet, and haven't seen one in the display since.
