Got this bad boy off a frag I dipped today.....coral rests in QT and I believe this to be an AEFW but a few other opinions would be appreciated.

You can see the bald spots in the tissue which are most likely bite marks. Search around the base and see if there's eggs on the frag. I don't know what your plan is moving forward but that wouldn't be in any tank of mine.

I honestly knew it was AFEW but I wanted to be wrong so I didn’t have to tell the seller. The frag plug is from my tank it’s actually a freshly cut frag tho that was just floating in a bag till I got it home.

On a separate not I contacted the seller and they didn’t know about it and from how their system looked I can see why. I truly don’t believe they had any ill intentions. I won’t be sharing who it was because this was just me finding something and letting the seller know about it which I do with all my corals that come into QT. I just don’t often find AEFW and when I do I don’t want to admit that I found it.
Hard for me to break that news on people.

Had that happen to me and when I told the seller I sincerely think he didn't know and I didn't out him because he broke down the systems he was running and starting over. I respect your decision to keep it between you and the seller but if you do notice that they're still selling now that you've notified them then you should say something.
