Hi was just wondering if someone knows what type of flatworm this is and whether or not I should remove them

Picture fuzzy but acoel flatworm it appears to be. Generally when you see one, there’s more.
Two ways to erradicate them if you see more:
- melanurus or lunare wrasse. OR
- flatworm exit

Would flatworm exit potentially damage other microfauna like brittle stars or pods?

It can if not used at proper dosage. I recommend 80% of recommendation

I always prefer to go natural over the chemical route. I had really good luck with a dragonet. Get a spotted mandarin!! My guy picks them off the rocks and glass.

I would LOVE to but I'm holding out on one until I get a sump/fuge installed. My tank's only 39gal and it'd break my heart if I jumped the gun and starved the little dude!

These flatworms don't eat corals but multiply fast and smother corals. I'd research the flatworm waminoa sp. (Convolutidae) before adding a chemical to a small tank. Manual removal at this point might be best.
