Ok thanks! I just got a melanurus wrasse yesterday. I was told theyre very good for pest control in general, glad its good for this too. Its a 3 inch male, its already starting to color up.Acoel flatworm and not as problematic as red planaria. Nevertheless, they can be an issue when in large numbers. Best removal is to siphon them with 3/8" or 1/4" tubing. Get them all as much as you can.
As an insurance policy, you can add a wrasse which will eat them. Wrasses would be: yellow coris, 6 lined, lunare or melanurus.
In large numbers, they can smother the base of coral and remove tissue. LOOK DAILY FOR 2 WEEKS FOR PRESENCE OF EGGS WHICH ARE TINY
