If it is a flatworm when I dip what should I do after?
If it’s those red ones that are not harmful, just irritates the corals.
So in that case you have few options imo

-Get a wrasse crew to keep the population at bay in your tank
-Dip it every now and then to keep it relatively clean

Or go big and do a full tank treatment with flatworm exit. I heard some people experienced some mortalities when using it but I honestly dont know the real reason for that.
I treated my tank once with it, I followed all the steps and the treatment was successful and I had no deaths at all

Yes, but was the process a nightmare? The warnings in the instructions sounds worse than the problem? Did you have to do a 30% water change? Run multiple carbon filters?

Can't remember exactly but I did everything the manual said. I treated a nano tank so 30% is not so much.
I do remember that I used one carbon filter
