Got some macroalgae at LFS. Put some of my aquarium water into a container just to give it a swish and look for obvious hitchhikers. There are a few of these guys on it. Can someone id please?!!

This is it floating in the water. The second pic shows something else that was in there and crawling/floating around. Is this a Berghia of some sort or just a pod?

Agreed on the 2nd one appearing to be a bristle worm. First one, sorry, no clue.

I guess the follow up question is whether to put this in my system or not. Bristle worms seem to get mixed reviews. Put it in and call it biodiversity or get something "cleaner" from somewhere like algae barn?

I would put it in, personally. I like diversity, and bristleworms are good cleanup crew for me (along with being difficult to avoid, longterm!)

Keep in mind that if you ever put your hands on one ... you'll regret it.
