I have a reefer 900XL - it has a separate yet connected sump which I’m using as a frag tank. I just noticed some flatworms show up on a few frags. Haven’t seen any in my DT yet. I do have a six line in the DT so he would presumably help that? Anyway, don’t know if these are one of the bad guys or not. ID? Should I add a six line to the frag tank? Medicate system? Appreciate any help.

six lined should but no guarantee. Lunare and melarus as well as yellow coris also eat flatworms.
Best removal method is to siphon all that you find especially if they are in low numbers. Orgwr would be chemically with Salifert flatworm stop. Although effective, you must siphon up the dead ones throughout each day as they can release toxins.
Also look daily for presence of eggs which are tiny and scrape off into sink or toilet as you find any. These are Red Planaria Flatworms

Thanks vetteguy.
At the moment the population seems small. I can't find any in the DT (again guessing because of the 6 line and a leopard wrasse that live there). I RX coral dipped the 8 or so frag plugs from the frag tank that had any worms on them - had about 20 or so floating worms after. Obviously there are likely more in the tank. So I guess the question is - keep dipping and siphoning but while population is low would you go with the chemical direction to the system or add a wrasse to the frag tank? Thanks again.

Good work. Check each day for flatworms and eggs for at least 2 weeks
