Flatworm treatment

Hey guys I have a 180 gaallon display and a 55 gallon sump. Well i did a flatworm exit treatment yesterday I did ducked put 5 gallons while trying to remove as much as possible. After the die off I did another 20 gallon water change. Today I came home and all of. My zoos are closed my birds nest is closed my cyrnia has excreted some white stringing stuff on itself and is half deflated. About.the only things that seem to be open is my welcome, meat, lobo and blastos. I also have seen any dead fish but they are all hiding and my Naso seems skittish

I was thinking I should do another water change I have somewhere between 20-25 gallons left

Yes change water!
Depending on the flatworm population they are highly toxic when treated.

Whenever things aren't quite right I always do a water change. It's kind of a knee jerk reaction, but it helps more times than not.

I knew they were highly toxic I've done this treatment in other tanks but never had this response. As soon as my wife gets home and takes over baby duty I'll get one done

I am running carbon currently and have turned my skimmer up a little

Ok my wife finally realized the tank is more important then her "chores" and I did another 20 gallon water change

Ok good news after the second 20 gallon water change yesterday all the fish are out and swimming about this morning, and almost all corals are fully open minus the cyrnia

How long should I wait till the follow up treatment

I would observe all surfaces for a few days.
If your numbers are still high after a few days then I suggest another round.

I don't see any issues went a little over the recommended dosage this time to ensure they all die I'm worried about any nest or hatchling that were born after the treatment

Depending on the species of flatworm the residual in the water should hamper any growth.
May I ask which species you had?

Brown planaria

Yup watch the tank. Those guys are a little harder to rid of
Give it a week but the first sign of them treat again.

This is so true!
That is why I use the h2o2 approach
No toxins, no tank harm (as long as it's not overdosed) and you catch them live
