I just received these hammer corals and wondering if they have flatworms on the base?

Flat worms will come of with like a tooth pic and if you put them in a dish of tank water they'll flatten out and look like a flatworm usually.

Sorry I meant the picture is fuzzy. Not a lot of detail.

Yea the specks were able to get off idk if it was a flat worm or not? I did dip the coral in revive prior to entering the tank. The brown specks did not fall off. I just received this coral today in the mail.

By eye I don't see anything.

Just keep an eye in the next day and maybe tonight after lights out and redip it if you need too.

Yea I usually buy my corals at the lfs cause I like seeing them before I buy. But I got a great deal on these guys. But I'll keep keep an eye out and thank you for your help.

So I have been keeping an eye on it when the light have been out. So I noticed these insect looking things crawling all over when I shined my light on it they all went into my live rock. What could this be?

Wow didn't realize all the life in a reef tank. That's really interesting stuff to read. Thanks again for the info. I have learned so much just from this first 6 months of this tank.

Your welcome. Yea it's pretty cool. Check the hitch hiker ID forum. Here. It's crazy. Some of the stuff nobody has been able to figure out.
