Can someone identify if these are flatworms? Saw one of my torches regressing a little figured I’d dip it and this is what came out. If someone can identify what these are, and a good strategy to eradicate. I would greatly appreciate it. IMG_7076.jpeg IMG_7077.jpeg

Looks like some kinda flatworm... im unsure if its just a plain plenaria or one that actually eats torches.

The torch eating ones are usually large and flat

As seen in this pictures from when i had the little buggers

*Edit*

Any eggs on the torch aswell?

Yeesh, any other torches/LPS in tank?
Yes, I have about seven other large torches that as of right now don’t seem to be affected and they are on the other side of the tank

I don’t mind doing a Bayer dip and some revive for the next 2 months but want to be sure I’m not destroying anything good in the tank

Hmm, i would maybe dip one or two of the seemingly fine ones. Just to check

But IME anything that comes off in those numbers on a suffering coral isnt a good guy

These appear to be Euphyllia eating flatworms as pictured below. They will eat tissue off acro as well as discovered by the bite marks or eggs on the coral and in numbers can smother bases of coral .
Removal can be accomplished by siphoning them with a 3/8" tubing into a nylon stocking and discard
OR
Add a wrasse such as Yellow coris, 6 line, lunare or malanurus OR even a springieri damsel which will eat them

With the number you have, for the next 2 weeks you will have to look for eggs and scrape off as there is likely some and would be future acoels. Eggs are really tiny
