Are these flatworms? Should I be concerned? I don't see many of them and I don't have any Acro's in the tank.

Not all flat worms are the dreaded acro eating variety. I wouldnt worry about them but I'm sure someone will chime in that knows about this particular variety.

They look like red planaria, you might want to google and do a little reading about them. They can become problematic and if they suddenly die off will nuke your tank.

Get rid of them they have babies like crazy. They will take over your tank with time. I took 2 tanks down cause of flat worms. Same ones to. Good luck.

Kill em off with Salifert Flatworm Exit ... Follow box directions to the letter, scoop out what you can with a brine shrimp net, put a extra heavy load of carbon in your water column, and do a 50% water change. I had to do this 3 times over the course of 6 months to finally be done with them. Get a Six Line Wrasse too ... They eat them ... Mine did. Good luck !

I picked up a Hoevens (melanurus) Wrasse today. I've read that they go crazy for flatworms. I'll try that first before going the chemical route. Thanks for all the feedback!
