Flatworms

100% flatworms, I had two separate tanks with them and treated both differently but equally as effective. On one I used flatworm exit (killed them all the first dose) just make sure to run carbon and do massive water changes to reduce the chance of the flatworm toxins released at death from killing your tank, and In another tank I bought a melanarus wrasse, gets along great with all my other fish and ate them all.

Either way worked great! Or try a combination of the two! Good luck!!

I've had luck with C. hemicyanea, C. cyanea, and currently C. springeri. I was having a moderate infestation a couple of months ago so I put in three springeris. Haven't seen a flatworm since. My buddy put one cyanea in his IM Lagoon, same thing, all the flatworms are gone. I had no luck with Flat Worm Exit. They always came back. It also killed all my stomatellas and brittle stars.
How many damsels should I put in a 75 gal. I just realized I have a ton more in my tank then I originally thought

yup. pretty much harmless but they can reproduce quickly to reach plague proportions. Manual removal can work if there's just a few. FlatWorm Exit has worked for some, but if it doesn't get them all, they'll be back with a vengeance. I prefer the natural method. For me, that was a pair of Bleu Star Leopard Wrasses that total eradicated them from my system within a couple weeks. As an added bonus, not only are they model reef citizen, they are also one of the most visually stunning fish you can get.
So I bought a leopard wrasse. Do they hide in the sand? I haven't seen him in a few hours I took a flash light to my tank to look in black spots I just wanna make sure he's okay I didn't have time to qt them

Another cool option could of been some Blue Velvet Nudibranchs (Chelidonura varians). However I think they’re exclusive flat worm eaters. So once they’re gone they would need a new home.

I wish you spoke up earlier lol they had on at the dang pet store

Are these the same? My tank has been FALLOW for 3 months after ICH. I added a Sterilizer and a Refugium. My tank and corals have never been better. Upon looking at my tank I saw this and then 50 more on my glass! Where in the hell would they have come from. The only thing i added was bottle of copepods from fish store that sells national brand. Would that have added them?

I’m beside myself. Was just getting ready to finally add fish again.

Good news is they don't kill anything. You have a a couple ways to get rid of them. Read my thread I'm currently going tho it.

Definitely a wrasse. I heard leopard wrasse will do the trick but most will eat flatworms. Goodluck!

A few peeps on here have told me a six line would work too, I have a 10g and I have a pair of very territorial clowns and a bicolour Blenny. I’m going to tear down the tank in a couple of months when we can put our qt fish back in the 30g display. I was thinking I would just leave it for now as they all disappeared over night but looks tonight and they have all come out of hiding. What can I use for such a small tank, as most wrasse need a 30g min

I regretted adding damsels to my tank as they did pick on my torch, frogspawns, and Duncan tentacles. I guess to get rid of worms but next challenge is getting rid of the damsels. Good luck.
