Well, I got bit by the swap corals too....flatworms in the tank. Been watching closely the past 4 weeks, and after some frags started to decline we finally saw some flatworms on the glass. WHat a pisser!
So treatment has started with a new bag of ROX carbon, FLatwormRX in the tank, and every piece dipped with CoralRX. Most the flatworms that were on the glass are now gone, and I have a water change planned for this afternoon that will be flowed by a second dosing of FlatwormRX this evening.

At least this is isolated two 2 of my nano's housing corals and not a large display tank! I am staying positive in thinking that all these corals have been in QT already making treatment easier and less costly.

I am sure others have used FlatwormRX..any tribal knowledge you could share would be much appreciated. I have always had a strict regimen of hygiene with dipping, but now CoralRX will be added to the Medicoral and Reef Dip.

Some corals you cant use coralRX on H@rry told us this at the swap to get bayer advanced complete concentrate coral RX well kill some coral and bayer advanced complete concentrate will not

You lucky it's not Aefw Andy. Just keep using exit and will bet it. Of those red/brown flatworm. I would do it for 4weeks and this will take care of it.

Red planaria are not a big deal as long as you change the water after treatment. the toxins they put off after adding the exit is what does harm....I'm sure you know this Andy, but was just wanting to post some general info to the thread.....Good Luck!

Ok, so the white pods on the glass I assumed were snail eggs (i get those often). But, since I saw little flatworms around them and saw these reduce during the first FlatwormRX dose, are these snail eggs or flatworm eggs?

i'm pretty sure those are snail eggs. you should be able to scrape them off and be able to tell pretty easy

Andy, I've luckily never dealt with flatworms. Could you possibly put a pic up so I could know what to look for in the future?

Zef, is talking about AEFW, acropora eating flatworms. They are much smaller than red planaria flat worms, and much more vicious. there eggs are so small, unless you have really good eyesight you might not see them at all, even close up.
