Just checking in to see if anyone is having long term success with these. Thinking about picking up a trio from DD but not sure if these fall into the impossible or possible Anthias category. I am experienced keeping lyretails, squarespot, bimacs, and sunburst. Just not looking for something that’s known for dying no matter what.

Red saddles are difficult. They are one of the ones that need frequent feedings. Not quite as bad as ventrails, evansi or queens. Beautiful fish, they are on my shortlist, and not always available. But the life long 3+ feedings a day is not an easy undertaking.

I tried my hand at four of them. Lost all four in qt a few years back. Not sure why, but I suspect they were just really freshly caught? They just never ate in qt.
