Fleas?

So I was just relaxing and looking up close at my tank and noticed that the glass is covered by little tiny creatures....allllll over the glass.... Then it made me wonder if my tank was infested with fleas. They are different sizes from tip of a needle to the size of a pencil eraser. I don't think I need to be concerned about these little creatures, but man it creeps me out.

Sounds like some copepods and/or anthropods. Good cuc and free food for some fish. They are a good thing to have. Congrats!

unfortunately I won't be able to get a picture that will look like anything other than a sneeze on the glass. my camera, even with the macro lense just won't produce a picture that can be made out.

do you have a magnifying glass or jeweler's loupe? try it right on the phone lense, focus normally. Itll work or not at all.

And for all my saltnnewbs, these are fun, work too. But don't pay more than $20, unless you want a really good one..

good to know. unfortunately i don't have either one of those. i might be able to get a magnifying glass though.
