...been searching but giving up so asking here:

Is there any "really flexible" tubing that will still work with push-in, quick connectors normally used for the standard 1/4" RO/DI tubing?
*by "really flexible" I mean closer to rubber hose flexibility

Interested in this answer for AWCs via a DOS. I’m assuming it’s a “no” for any use with any significant pressure.

It might end up being too soft for the push to connect fittings to seal against properly.

That being said, I bought a bunch of opaque 1/4" OD plastic tubing years ago that's significantly more flexible than the standard HDPE RO tubing and it worked just fine. I wouldn't describe it as being as soft as rubber but I could route it anywhere I wanted without having to fight it like HDPE RO tubing.

Thanks,,, will check it out.

For clarity, my goal is just to extend my RO/DI waste line and have it easier to manipulate, so very low pressure (almost none).
*I carry out my waste line to the lawn and/or planters only when I'm actually making RO/DI water.

I use this for these. I am changing them out to extra color Redsea tubing that is sold as an accessory for their dosing pumps. I have all Apex gear and much of the Redsea gear. It works fine using 1Link under my butlers sink into the study.

For that purpose you could use a barb splice to convert from hard to soft tubing and use Kuritec

Good idea.
I posted the general question because I was curious but for my specific goal right now, there's probably tons of ways to do it.

My first idea was just a straight through male-to-male hose bib that I could hard mount to the wall, then just use a garden hose to run it out to the lawn but I couldn't find anything that looked like it'd be easy to mount to the wall.

I'll probably just go for the silicone tubing idea or maybe this barb connector idea you just mentioned.

Thanks all...

Rodi uses a hose with 1/4” outside diameter. Use this to get it outside the hose then slip a silicone hose with an inside diameter of 1/4” right over it. Should fit nice and snug, no connectors needed. Silicone tubing is flexible enough, you could probably get 1/4” over 1/4”
